The other day I was having a discussin with a friend of mine (Lets call him John) about oral sex. The discussion was quite easy until I said something that made him gasp. I told him that i would not have oral sex/sex with anyone till i am sure that he/she has had an STD test. He seemed mortified, like i had just accused him of having a disease. It took me quite while to convince him that i was not talking about him.
Why is it that men/women take it as an insult if you ask them to take an STD test? They act all insulted and try to guilt you into taking your wards back.
- It isn’t logical for me to risk my health to make someone feel better.
- Secondly, I am living in the 21st century, I would rather not have sex than has sex with someone who does not understand my need to be safe.
